Windmill palm (Trachycarpus fortunei), the Chinese windmill palm or Chusan palm, is a species of hardy evergreen palm tree, growing to 12m tall.  The flowers are yellow about 2–4 mm across. The fruit is a blue-black, kidney bean shaped drupe 10–12 mm long.

Windmill palm is one of the hardiest palms, it tolerates cool, moist summers as well as cold winters to -15C.
